Alex Chilton – You will be missed.

A sad day for music Wednesday as we lose Alex Chilton. He was a guitar genius and an excellent songwriter. He sang with the Box Tops in the ’60s when he was a teenager. Now I wasn’t too familiar with his music until a few months ago and am really getting into Big Star, but I’d have to say The Letter is one of my favorite tunes and music videos! Part of Tracy Morgan’s shtick is his love for ladies and, in particular, his desire to procreate with them. Wednesday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he amplified his desires, taking them to knew heights by putting them in the form of song and video. This group (Die Antwoord) must have the greatest sense of humour known to man.

Die Antwoord is the Lady Gaga of Bands.  Their music is weird and they’re even weirder.  I couldn’t love them any more than I already do. Below is a music video of theirs.
