Japanese Kit Kat

Japanese Kit Kat's In The Wild

Here is a pic of just a few of the many Kit Kat flavours I had the opportunity to enjoy while I was in Japan.  While there were some interesting choices like Green Tea (probably the most popular) and Blueberry Cheesecake and Raspberry Passionfruit, I think my two favourites were Strawberry and a tie between Royal Milk Tea and Coffee.

The Sexy Megan Fox and her Exclusive Vagina

4 03 2010

Apparently Megan Fox has an exclusive vagina and reveals in the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar that she’s only sex with one other man who was apparently so terrible in bed.
“I’ve only been with two men my entire life. My childhood sweetheart and Brian. I can never have sex with someone that I don’t love, ever. The idea makes me sick. I’ve never even come close to having a one-night stand.” Good for you Megan Fox! … Soon to follow are a list full of hookers calming they had Sex with her!

New And Improved Ketchup Packets!!!

8 02 2010

Finally, after years of watching me struggle with those impossible-to-open packets, Heinz has decided to take my advice and invest in new condiment applicators. Impressive, but I suggested spray cans. Named (and trademarked) the Dip & Squeeze, the new packet-y things offer both traditional ketchup squeezing capabilities with the added benefit of — wait for it — DIPPING!! Amen to never buying Ketchup at the grocery store again!

Lady GaGa Cookies!!!!

25 01 2010

I think I may be one of the few people on the planet that are not big fans of Lady Gaga’s music.  I would love to see her concert because I think her psycho ass would put on one helluva show, but the music?  eh, not so much.

Anyways, her fans are CUH-RAY-ZEE for her.  They even bake Gaga cookies.  These are amazing.

Periodic Table Of Cupcakery

3 12 2009

Sadly, it’s not actually a periodic table OF cupcakes like I may have falsely advertised. Instead, it’s a periodic table MADE with cupcakes. AAAAAHH I WOULD STILL EAT THEM INDISCRIMINATELY! Starting with lithium. This periodic table of cupcakes is for a chemistry nerd’s birthday party. Each cake is labeled with an element and color-coded by its state of matter. I hear hydrogen and helium are very light and fluffy. Looks like someone already ate ununseptium.

SUPER EPIC RAINBOW CAKE!

2 12 2009

Super Epic Rainbow Cake

2 sticks butter, room temp
2 1/3 c sugar
5 egg whites, room temp
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 c flour
4 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 1/2 c milk, warmed for 30 sec in microwave to bring to room temp
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple food coloring

Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Oil and line how ever many 9” cake pans you have (I have three and I just reused them).

Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

Cream the sugar and butter, then add the egg whites (I cracked them all into one bowl) and add them a little at a time. Add the vanilla and mix until fully incorporated. Then, alternating between wet and dry, add the milk and flour mixture in two parts.

Divide the batter amongst 6 bowls (I did it by weight. Weigh your mixing bowl before you begin adding ingredients and then subtract the weight of the bowl from the final measurement after the batter is completed. Divide that number by six and add that weight of batter to each bowl), and then whisk a fair amount of the appropriate food color into each bowl. Pour into the pans and bake for 15 minutes each.

When you remove them from the oven, let them rest on the cooling rack, in the pan, for ten minutes. Then flip, cover, and stash them in the fridge to cool quickly.
